The number cannot just be upped to 20, or any number for that matter.    It isnt set by "max number".

It is difficult to explain why and how it works. 
 (if/when I can figure a way to explain it that doesnt confuse I will)

There are only so many smileys iin the default folder  (which are available to you when you first sign up)

The only way to make it so there wouuld be more would be if he was to go around, find more smileys, add them to those folders, set them all up (codes, tooltips, etc.)      He would have to do that for every server and to be honest I do not see that happening.    There are many other issues, and things that are being worked on for now.

He has already stated there will be no more added.
Also the ability to add/upload our own was disabled well over a year ago -  he has stated that will not ever be re-enabled.   

Then i fail but... im wondering about the afro.gif ect? how do i add difrent ones like my own .gifs?
