hey could you make smfforfree downloadable? so i can add to my website files? ino alot my friends would aswell Tongue

i dont want to use real smf...its so complicated...they dont hae manage styles all that...

I can't do that since that would be a license violation of SMF. I try to make SMF For Free the best forum host out there though.

I do notice a difference between a site a moderate at, which is a downloaded version of SMF.... and the ease I go through while creating and building my site using SMF for FREE. THere is a ginormous difference, in my opinion, and I would like say Thank you.

The site I moderate at, is a good site. I know the admin personally, and I know the issues she faces while making changes, when there are errors, etc.

I also know that prior to selecting SMF For Free, I had researched for quite some time all of the hosts available. This one was the best for me, and since beginning my site, I have never regretted that decision.

Have you promoted SMF to yahoo and google or Wiki?
I guess you haven't promoted It to Wiki
Oh and: how would it be a license violation?

SMF For Free has been thoroughly checked by most, if not all, search engines.
Any popular site with a couple hits usually nails the search engines quickly, no worries.

The SMF TOS states that you may download their software and modify it to your liking, but you can not redistribute the modified version without written permission.

Spamming through the pm service is not approved on most forum services. If you have not already made your alloted advertising post( one post per forum) you can do that. Also, you can list your forum with the major search engines and possibly draw more members that way. If you have a good forum you will gain members through word of mouth.
