I don't think that would really be appropriate for this forum. We try to do support here and it is getting ever more bogged down with non-support postings.

There is a leaderboard on the main smfforfree webpage: http://www.smfforfree.com/leaderboard/Currently (I believe) only forums on smfforfree.com (server 1) are listed in it. He has mentioned it is on his to-do list to get the others on it. Keep in mind his to-do list is rather lengthy and other things on it take precedence and importance. |

Something to keep in mind is that in just the General Forums category, and on server 1 only, there's well over a thousand forums...quite a time-consuming task to place in order.
Some forums have well over 100,000 posts...and Badge Addicts has over 300,000 (KUDOS!) but the important thing (imho), is not who has the most members, posts, or topics, but the quality of the content of the forum and its membership. Being helpful to others also goes a long way (Thinly veilled compliment to Simply Sibyl and Tent Dwellers)!

Coffee.. hummm good point. It may not be working anymore. Ive not looked at it in so very long and only remember it exisited when reading this thread. I have little concern (myself/my forum) how far up on a list it is. Those numbers mean nothing to me, as as you said, the quality of posts, and membership is more important then a high post count or ranking. (thinly veiled compliment back at Coffenole for the Coffeeshop forum) lol

Actually, the Server 1 leaderboard IS up; there is 7,245 sites on Server 1 alone.

It is there, has been all along.. Im not sure how up to date it is as Ive not had time to really look. The last time I did I "think" it was pretty accurate. Not sure how often its updated. Lots of forums on server 1.. and with all the servers there are with this service (there are many more then 1,2,3,4, mysmf, freesmfhosting) it would be a huge undertaking to get them all listed I would think.

It definitely would. The service used to be alot smaller. Having grown by leaps and bounds (and servers) this would take a lot of programming to make it automatic. He surely would not sit and do this by hand himself.. harrrr... no way anyone would.
