I used it on my forum, and it looks sweet, I changed some stuff up tho and it looks great on  runecenter.smfforfree3.com

I really enjoy this theme, but when I installed it (correctly I believe) it turns into this:

Your forum is on Create A Forum, which uses SMF 2.0 RC3. The forums over here at SMF For Free use SMF 1.1.11

The 2 versions are different, this style will not work with Create A Forum.

Okay, I am very confused. When I try to create a forum on SMF, it redirects me to one hosted by Create-A-Forum. Is there any way to change the version or to actually make one with SMF for free again?

If you want to use this style, you will need to make an SMF For Free forum here, however you will have to wait because he currently has forum registrations redirected to Create A Forum (as you said).

No there is no way to change the version, Simple Machines Forum has different versions of their software, but currently, SMF For Free uses their latest stable version, which is 1.1.11

2.0 RC3 is said to be very stable but since there were many different things added to it it has to be released very carefully.
