You can't have it in the category itself.  Make a category.  Then make a board called the same thing.  Put the code for the chat box or the music box in the board description.  Then if you want to keep the access to either box for registered members only use the permission check boxes when you are setting up the board.

I made mine the last board on the index.  Keeps it neat and tidy and members scroll down and can see if there is something else they would like to look at.

I don't like it in the portal.  I go to too many sites where it is full of potty mouths and spammers.  That's not what I want my forum about.
