It wasn't a big deal and it's been resolved so no worries.

Forum Url: http://gemstone.smfforfree4.com/.smfforfree4.com
I added the CSS at the bottom of the styles sheet and the other code to the header in a test forum with the same theme as what is in mine.

I don't understand how everyone is getting an overall border with nice additional borders that break up each of the parts within the sidebar.

I have tried changing color codes within the part that I added to the style sheet, but no matter... I can't seem to get the background or border colors to change.

I just keep getting what you see in the above test forum link. White text, black background and no borders of any kind.  Shocked

Help, help?  Smiley

I am not sure what happened, but I did nothing and the sidebar background color decided to just suddenly appear.

If someone was able to correct the problem within the test site above, would greatly appreciate the same on my actual forum now that I have moved the code there.

Same thing... At this time the background wants to remain black no matter what color I change it too.

Maybe something within the server is correcting the problem after a short time. I don't know....... So maybe it will just sorta correct itself or maybe someone here might take a look at my forum in the same way they may have the test forum?  coolsmiley

Can someone help me, the sidebar is really narrow on my test site: http://s11.invisionfree.com/TetrisDS/  Is there any way to make it appear wider, like in the screenshot?  This is the css for the skin: http://qshare.com/get/200496/crystal_suite.doc.html

Hi 3lf.
Since we do have a Portal System have you considered using it instead of a sidebar?
You could make blocks and use them for all of the same information you have in the sidebar.

The way it is setup, no.
Someone could probably totally rewrite it and come up with something that could do that - would take a lot of work.
