Thanks Moose,great code.

What I've observed is that it works with Explorer I6 (yeah,I still use it Smiley )and works with Firefox.Perhaps others can chime in with other browsers to compile a list of the appropriate browsers for this code.

edit:  Works with Firefox and Internet Explorer 7.0

Please leave your forum's url, with the code in place, so that someone can take a look at it to see how you did it.
You could also post the code you used here.

<script>
function profile_music(id,url){
//Created by Agent Moose at smcodes.smfforfree3.com
if (location.href.match("action=profile;u="+id+"$")){
document.write('<embed src="' + url + '" autostart="true" loop="true" hidden="true"><noembed><bgsound src="' + url + '"></noembed>');
}}
profile_music("1","http://www.filefreak.com/pfiles/58525/01-motteke-sailor-fuku.mp3");
</script>

Your code is fine.  I just tried it on one of my test sites.
It works with Firefox and IE.. the song plays when viewing my profile.

It isnt working with my IE but it could be some flaky IE setting or that the code doesnt work with IE..   not sure
scratch that.. its working fine

I just went to your site and viewed your profile using IE.
I can hear the song.
I can not hear it on my own site viewing my own profile unless I use Firefox.

edit:  its working okay with IE and firefox on my site and yours
It could possibly be a browser issue on your end.

If you go back to the very first post in this thread(page 1) Agent Moose explains how to add other profiles.

This is going to sound really stupid... but can someone tell me how to download songs onto my PC?
Ok there is only 3 ways i know how to get music onto your computer
2 are legal
1 is illegal
I only use legal ways and im not telling u the illegal way -.-
1. Buy the CD and have a cd drive on you computer and rip it(don't worry u will still have the music on the CD its just a term)
2. Buy it off of a trusted site like napster or itunes =)

Sorry if this is a bit late just thought i'd give some input

a good place to get urls is free.napster.com. search a song, then hit share next to it. it gives you a url near the bottom.
