Which programming languages do you all basically understand? I mean you have the ability to look at any document or program and be able to understand basically what is happening.
For me...(X)HTML, CSS. That's it...I plan to learn more someday. Like Javascript, PHP and SQL. However PHP and SQL will have to wait(a while) Javascript I'm trying to learn now. That's all I can understand...
Anyone else?

Usually if you google whatever language you want to learn a million tutorials will come up. A good way to learn..or at least get a basic understanding. And BBCode isn't really a programming or design language. Just a modified code for forums posts.

Voted - all bbcode is a (very) stripped down version of html for forums and crasyandconfused is right, google is the best place to learn any programming language IMO

Yeah..it is plain. But simple, which is always good when learning something simple like HTML and CSS. I just find they don't go into enough detail with functions for Javascript which from experience functions are pretty imporant in Javascript! Where did you learn Javascript? Edit: 400 posts...wow

I plan to someday plan learn computer programming languages as well. Someday...in the far ahead future. BASIC is for those stamp things right? I think I might have to learn that in the future in school as well. Edit: Never heard of COBOL. Heh, never plan to learn it either if it's dead... Edit2: I heard to learn last year(Grade 9) how to properly use Microsoft Word. Slightly easy We had about 10 pages of work for the entire year. Mostly making a table, word art, changing fonts and borders. The simplest things...I had it all done in about 2 weeks. I spent the rest of my time playing with photoshop. (They hid photoshop from us but neglected to actually take it away. Create a blank .psd on Notepad and open it..I had Photoshop.
