Visual Studio Express is actually all these items in one package:

Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition
Visual C# 2005 Express Edition
Visual C++ 2005 Express Edition
Visual J# 2005 Express Edition
Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition
SQL Server 2005 Express Edition

However, keep in mind that they are not FULL versions. They are stripped down versions. They are used for people (like students) to get "basic knowledge" of how each of these languages/compilers work.

 ;)

Your very welcome. I've used most of the 'full blown" languages/compilers already and I know how dissappointing it would be to someone wanting the full version and they didnt get it..lol. :)

There is no "full version" of the Express. Thats why its called "Express". As I stated, its a stripped down version of the full Visual Studio (basic components only).

Well.. You're a RuneScape private server person(by that logo...)... which is coded in Java. No wonder why C++ or C# isn't familiar? They are related, Java took the syntax of C++:
Code: [Select]
public class blah {
blah blah blah;
}

public boolean blahnumber2 {
blah2 blah 2;
blah2 blah 2;
}
else
{
blah2 default;
}
}
Those are similar in Java and C++.

Java is safer than C++ for a reason to do with loading applets (web clients ETC).

Jagex, the creators of RuneScape, write in a language called "RuneScript" which is a mix of Java and C++...

:)
