What is "Living Avatars"?

I have recently installed this to my Forums, but I have no idea what it is and what it does...   ???
(In fact I don't even know if this topic belongs on this board...  :-\ )

It's supposed to enable you to have some Gaia type avatars that you can dress up your self.  At least that's what it was in the beginning.
