yes i know

It says on myspace

"

    * You may enter HTML/DHTML or CSS in any text field. Javascript is not allowed.
      Do not use HTML/CSS to cover MySpace advertisements.
    * To disable clickable links in Interests / Music / Movies / Television / Books / Heroes, put a <Z> anywhere in the box."

css works.   I helped my oldest son do his using css.   Takes practice and time to do it.
THis was moved to this area of the forum as this is about Myspace and not something you are doing on SMF.

Read what you posted again:

<script type="text/javascript">
function pop_up()
{
alert("Text For The Pop Up Goes Here");
}
pop_up();
</script>

See where it says  "javascript"  ?

That is NOT css coding and it will not work on Myspace as they do not allow javascript.
