Ok, well, so Sibyl helped me conquer java snow....now I want to attempt Java lake!  I have fiddled with this code many times and still can't get it to work.  If anyone can tell me where I'm going wrong and fix this code, I'd appreciate it!

Here's the code I am using:

Code:
<center>

   <applet code="http://www.fileupyours.com/view/184856/lake" width="1190" height="258">
  <param name="image" value="http://www.fileupyours.com/view/184856/pastelbanner.gif">
<param name="href" value="http://www.ibdprince.com/java.shtml">
   </applet>

</center>

*********************************************************
I've gone to 8 different sites to read their tutorials and none of them work.  I went back to this code because it's the one Sibyl had gotten to work for me a few months ago.

The original size of this banner is 600x134.  The directions say to double it and then subtract 10.

Also, if anyone actually has the applet for the water effect that makes it look like a water ripple instead, I'd prefer that one, but couldn't find it when I did my searches.  I remember going to sites back in the late 90s where you'd put your cursor on it and the water would make a circular ripple....it was very nice. Smiley

Anyway, hopefully someone can get this code to work.  I'd be very grateful. Smiley

The only thing I found right off the bat is the host says that http://www.fileupyours.com/view/184856/lake can't be found.  You may want to start with that first and try to find out why it is kicking out the error.

Hmmm, that is weird.  I had this account and it got deleted due to inactivity so I got a new one and uploaded this file.  I will delete it and get another one and upload it.  Thanks for letting me know there was an error there. Smiley  I hope this is the only glitch.....we shall see! Smiley

OMG!  I found it!!  This is EXACTLY what I want!  Yay!!  Ok...so does anyone know what this is called or know how to code this thing?  Cheesy

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated!  I am going to look for some more tutorials, but usually find them useless....but I will still try to figure this out myself in the meantime. Smiley

Ahh, it's called rain drop water effect!  Just knowing the proper name will help in my search!  Thanks so much, LL!  You're a doll!  I will check it out now and work on it!

File hosts don't usually allow you to take right off of them.
