Hello my forum has been totally wiped every forum post gone 7 years of posting gone all that was left where the Boards index the gallery and arcade were unaffected I'm in the process of rebuilding but the loss is 100% of posts from all members including sticky and locked topics all gone I doubt this can be fixed but an explanation would help. Thanks

All posts from September 30th until October 21st have disappeared from http://xtranewscommunity2.smfforfree.com for a days-and-a-half the entire group was down then when it was restored, all of those posts were missing.

Any chance of restoring things?

Thanks in advance.

I'm an old Visual BASIC DOS programmer, trying to move to something more modern and adaptable, namely C++.  I spent $39 for the big "C++ for Dummies" book and am digging through the chapters, using Code::Blocks.

My problem is that I've hit something and I have no edit screen any more.  If I load another project, still nothing is visible.  I even downloaded the program again with the same effect.  I assume there is a file that holds the settings I left, but this is very frustrating.

I hope this is a simple problem to others more familiar with this IDE.

Thanks!

Dave
