The code is probably pretty out of date :(

I believe this request is in the correct thread finally

The screensaver falling leaves by bluebutterfly does not have the code anymore for the leaves to fall because she deleted her photobucket pictures  making the screensaver useless    . is there anyway this can be corrected so we can use it for fall ?   thanks

Hah, yeah but you'd have to post the old code and a new image to use (since the old image is dead and gone apparently). Maybe you can find a new small leaf image to use though?

If the space is needed inactive forums are pruned automatically. Otherwise, an untouched forum doesn't use any resources other than server space ;)

Enjoy.

The Surfboard SBG6580 is a modem, not a router meaning you don't need to portforward it. You should have your computer directly plugged into that right?

Or do you have your modem plugged into a router? If so, which router?

Cleaning. Because sometimes I go on a cleaning rampage and the whole place smells like bleach, cleaners, and freshness.

And that freshness smells like pride, men. And pride gets you the ladies. Go clean your rooms.

Try updating AVG? If not you should actually probably ask on their forums about it. Maybe there is way to whitelist SMF For Free.

AVG had an issue a few days ago where a lot of domains were incorrectly marked. This issue has been fixed now. There was no virus on the forums or SMF For Free websites though.

This was an issue with AVG - not the ads or SMF For Free. If the issue keeps happening though we can try to help you here though.

The only way to do it would be to use this website, http://browsershots.org/ to take a snapshot using his browser version and his screen size.

Other than that you can't really hide it.

I don't know if having a "domain" is very important anyways. Most people keep their favourite sides in bookmarks/bookmarks toolbar. Nearly every browser only needs keywords to find websites (ie. I never type smfsupport.com/support, I just type "Support" and hit enter")

Best reason for owning a domain is so you can separate your "brand" (the domain) from your hosting (smfforfree). In case you want to make changes later on....

Can you show me an actual example of this?

Though, unfortunately, I don't think this is possible.

Just make a new membergroup and give it full privileges. Allow it to do anything. It will be just like an Admin then.

You should always watch what site you type your login information to. There are "fake Facebook"'s out there. People have made webpages that look exactly like Facebook, except when you type in your login information they steal it. After that it redirects to the real Facebook and you never know the difference

Watch your web browsing.

General Chat / Re: rules?

I used to just warn people instead of banning them right away. Then they would know what they did wrong that I didn't like. Communication is better than just blindly banning people according to written rules.

But regardless, there is a box to put "reasons" for a ban.

I just think being restrictive on your members will turn them off of the forum. Let them be free and only tighten the glove on them when you need to.

He wants to add the text "Forum Created By _____ , Designed By ______ ."
Ontop of the text.

The best idea would be to add that text into the footer of your forum, Mark. That would put that text very close to what you want, but not exactly.
