Yes, been using it for years so it is what I'm most comfortable with. It's also easy to integrate it with other software that I use. No offense to SMF users, I don't judge. :P

Hey everyone, I haven't been to this site in a really long time. I mostly use phpBB3 now (probably shouldn't have said that here :D) but I still like SMF!

Then just create a custom profile field>Text Area and only allow admins to edit it and have it show under the post count. You don't even need a code to do this.
dosen't work...

Actually it would if you'd just try it. If you have a large forum and end up having a lot of members, doing this with a code will get complicated and very easy to lose track of!

Or go to Admin CP>Members section>Membergroups>Modify the Global Moderator group>Change the name to what you want>Add them to that group.

Well, as long as he's just adjusting the title of the admin membergroup and since there are no ways to change the admin permissions as long as he doesn't delete himself from admin group he should be fine.

sean9461, use the edit button rather than triple posting.

alex clone, you can go to Admin CP>Members Section>Membergroups>Modify the Administrator group and delete the group name and leave it blank, delete the color in online list, and have no rank image. You would be viewed as a regular member but have admin powers if you're in that group.

If you want to add a new page to your forum you can use the SMF Page V1 code so you will have a url something like "http://yourforum.smfforfreeX.com/index.php?action=yourpage" and you can add whatever content you want to it and then add that url to a new tab.

Then no, if you tell the tab the url "www.youtube.com" it will go to "www.youtube.com"
