 I was actually going to try to install SMF (the regular one), but was not able too, and I noticed at the bottom, of the page there was a link to SMF for free, where they have for if one has troubles installing SMF,...so I tried the SMF for free, and am glad I did,
thank you for being here.

 There are several that are down, but I am sure they will get to it,..it could take a while to figure out, so I would just try to be patient,...

OK, Junker Thanks alot,
 This is the ID of the member you want it to appear it was sent from. So if you want it to look like YOU sent it, you'll set this number to 1

QBasic, Qb64 , and then I never thought of html as a programming language,..but I enjoy useing it for web site work, and useng the "hypetext markup languge" (HTML), also to link to files quickly in my computer,..CSS I know very little about, but would like to learn more about PHP, and SQL too. I am pretty much self taught,...slowly trying to learn more about all of it.

Ok, and I got this idea from, the previous post  Posted by: MMFWCL
The code was interesting, so I did a edit and made this,...
Code: [Select]
  <html>
<head>
<style type="text/css">
div.img
{
  margin: 2px;
  border: 1px double black;
  height: auto;
  width: auto;
  float: left;
  text-align: center;
}
div.img img
{
  display: inline;
  margin: 15px;
  border: 1px dotted #ffffff;
}
div.img a:hover img {border: 1px dashed coral;}
div.desc
{
  text-align: center;
  font-weight: normal;
  width: 120px;
  margin: 2px;
}
</style>
</head>
<body>

<div class="img">
 <a target="_blank" href="smfsupport.com"><img src="http://i1140.photobucket.com/albums/n566/GarryRicketson/ghost2.gif" alt="Klematis" width="110" height="90" /></a>
 <div class="desc">This is the Ghost for a Pac Man Game I am working on </div>
</div>
</body>
</html>

Note, although most every one probably know this, you don't have to use a web site, to see how this looks or works, just copy the code, paste it into note pad, or what ever editor, save it as a    anyname.html  instead of a text file,and run it with your browser,...

Programming / Re: Looking To Create An Online RPG
« on: June 07, 2011, 10:57:19 pm »
Forum Url: http://wittywittywhatisthat.freesmfhosting.com/index.php/
Do you want it linked or embedded into your forum? An embedded client could be accomplished by using a created page on your forum, or putting it into any other area that accepts HTML. However, the files and whatnot would have to be hosted elsewhere.
This was a pretty old post, -A-, I am wondering if by any chance you can give any more details on doing this, not necesarrily a RPG game, or pointing me to where I could learn more on it ?
For example, for the files and what not, What "elsewheres" are acceptable , would  Drop Box, or Photo Bucket work ?, How would I create a page in my forum ,that acesses the "embedded client" ?
thanks From Garry
