I'd say it is possible.

yes javascript.....however im sure you could tinker arround with sime other stuff to get it to work also.
it just needs something like live feed from smf or something im not very good at javascrupt or that im into css and stuff more like that...

I know. What about asking them if they will share the piece of code with you.

There is always a chance that they will help you. Then you will just have to alter it to get the info from your forum.
