This guide will tell you how to set up a music player for your smfforfree forum.
Step 1: go to www.projectplaylist.com then register a account. then log in.
Step 2: When you sign up you get your own music player. browse music e.g linkin park
Step 3: Click the "Add to music button on any piece of music you want.
Step 4: Click finish then when its completed copy the HTML code.
Step 5: Go to your forum Admin CP>Manage styles>Headers/footers put the HTML Code in the footers. click save. Scroll to the bottom of your forum and there you have it your own music player.

click on your playlist
you'll see this on that page.  Click the Generate Code Link

On the next page go to the very bottom and choose:
E. Get the code for any other social network, blog or your own personal website

If you get a page telling you to choose which playlist you want the code for choose the one you want.

Next Page:  Fix the settings to your liking then click Get Code:

Next Page:  Copy the code.

Go to your forum Admin CP>Manage styles>Headers/footers
Put the code in either your header or your footer.... that ones up to you

The code they give you on that site can be directly pasted in the webpage editor using the html link.

i had this on our forum, thanks for posting the link to it.

we had to remove it though as members didnt like the way it refreshed to another track everytime they viewed a mew thread or page.

is there anyway of setting this so it doesnt do that?

I found that by opening 1 page for the music, then open a second forum home page for your browsing, that way the pages you are clicking on will not affect the player on the other page. I tried it out, it works excellent!

Yup you can hide your player too if you want. But you have to mess around with the HTML code a little bit.
