Normal Keyboard

First of all, by symbols, I mean something like from 'ö' to '¤'.  To do this, hold the alt button and use a number on the keyboard. If you have no idea what a number pad is, see this image:

Laptop Keyboard

This is very similar to the one above. However, laptop keyboards do not extend far enough to have room for a number pad. In this case, the Fn(Function) key comes along. Along with mentioned above, there is an added step. Also with hitting the alt key and a number on the number pad, you have to hit the Fn key. The numbers are located on the right of they keyboard. It looks like this:

I didn't list the the lower ones that are usually unncesscary.

Alt 1 = ☺
Alt 2 = ☻
Alt 3 = ♥

I didn't think those were necessary.

Just a note to add to this.
Be careful using characters like this for your username.
It can make it impossible for you to receive PMs on your forum.

νξχξd Dξνιζ™  since you changed your name here last evening the forum isn't allowing you to be pmed any longer.   There is NO way to pm you.   You are gonna have to fix your username.
