When posting images on a forum it's always good to keep in mind some people are on slow connections and posting large images can really slow them down. So posting clickable thumbnails is a good idea

We ask that you do not post large images here at SMF for Free Support. Use links to the image or thumbnails.
I'll show you how to do it with Photobucket and Imageshack.
With Photobucketa. Login to your Photobucket account.
b. Upload your image
c. Find the image in Photobucket, put a checkmark in the little box under the image
d. Scroll to the bottom of the page
e. Click "Generate HTML and IMAGE Code"

f. The next page will have links on it for you to copy and paste into forum posts.
Choose the one that says:
IMG clickable thumbnails for message boards - recommendedg. Copy the code, paste it to your post.
It will put a small thumbnail of the image in your post.
When clicked on a new page will open with the larger image.
Example: (click pic to view larger image)
With Imageshacka. Go to:
http://www.imageshack.us/b. Click the Browse button
c. Browse your hard drive and find the image you want to post
d. Click the "Host it" Button
e. After the image is uploaded you will have a page with the links on it to post in threads.
Choose the one that says:
Thumbnail for forums (1)f. Copy the code, paste it to your post.
It will put a small thumbnail of the image in your post.
When clicked on a new page will open with the larger image.
