So your moderators, your global moderators and your admins all have funky and cool stars, but what about other membergroups and special people? Well thats easy, create the membergroups and set your permissions up. Now lets change the images Smiley

Admin Panel -> Edit Membergroups -> Modify (click modify on the membergroup you want to change the colour for)

Right so your faced with an edit screen, now look for "Star image filename:" and in that box directly across from it is a file name, now to change the colour we must give it a new file name.

Big Stars
1staraqua.gif
1stargold.gif
1starlime.gif
1starorange.gif
1starpink.gif
1starpurple.gif
1starred.gif
Now to use one of theme, what you do is take the filename listed at the side there example "1staraqua.gif" and put that in the filename box replacing what ever is in there (without quotes ofcourse)

Musical Notes
2music.gif
2music1.gif
2music2.gif
2music3.gif
Now to use one of theme, what you do is take the filename listed at the side there example "1staraqua.gif" and put that in the filename box replacing what ever is in there (without quotes ofcourse)

Small Stars
3cyan.gif
3green.gif
3invert.gif
3orange.gif
3palegreen.gif
3purple.gif
3red.gif
3yellow.gif

Now to use one of theme, what you do is take the filename listed at the side there example "1staraqua.gif" and put that in the filename box replacing what ever is in there (without quotes ofcourse)

Hope you have a more individual and colourful board now Smiley

There may be more rank images in future, so keep an eye out.

It should say "Number of Star Images" or somthing like that, change it to 1 for 1 star; 2 for 2 stars..So on and so forth.

Forum Url: http://podiscool.smfforfree2.com
I added this to my header, and it still gives me a * for the membergroup image...
Code:
<script type='text/javascript'>
/*
Change Any Image On Page
Created by iFusion
*/
var img_b = new Array();

img_b[img_b.length++] = [ "http://http://images.smfboards.com/ranks/dl_ranks2/rank_moderator.gif" , "http://http://i337.photobucket.com/albums/n382/beapro/moderator.gif" ]

var all_images = document.getElementsByTagName('IMG');
for(i=0;i<all_images.length;i++){
for(j=0;j<img_b.length;j++){
   if(all_images[i].src == img_b[j][0]){
     all_images[i].src = img_b[j][1];
}}}
</script>

1.   You can not put the url to an image on Photobucket into that box in Membergroups
Put THIS in that Membergroups star image filename block:  dl_ranks2/rank_moderator.gif

2.   You need to fix the code in your Image Swapper Code and the code has to go in your FOOTER not you HEADER.
Look back up thru the thread to where you first posted this.   I showed you where you did it wrong and told you what to do to fix it.

what has to be fixed?

The code that you have in your HEADER is supposed to be in your FOOTER

The code is incorrect.

Look at the urls you put in it.
They have http://  twice for each of them.    They wont work that way.

For instance:

http://http://images.smfboards.com/ranks/dl_ranks2/rank_moderator.gif

should be:   http://images.smfboards.com/ranks/dl_ranks2/rank_moderator.gif

make sure to fix BOTH of the urls in your code..   they are both wrong.
