Welcome Topic System

This feature is found in your Admin Panel under Welcome Configuration

The welcome topic system creates a new topic when a user registers on the forum.
If the member requires member activation the topic will be created at that time.
If the member is approved or activated via the admin panel the topic is also created.

Features:
Allows the use of multiple topic texts to be used randomly.
The topic texts can contain BBCode, smileys, etc.
Select which board to post the topic in.
Select which member to post the topic under.

The add topic function allows you to create multiple topics.
When a user registers it randomly chooses one of the topic texts to use for their post.

Welcome Topic Settings

Forum:  Choose a board you want the Welcome Message posted to.
Poster Name:  Type in your name (or whoever you want the message to be FROM)
Click "Save Settings"

Create Topics

Click the "Add Topic" link
You'll be in the message editor
Type a subject for the message
Type the message you want posted when a new member registers
You can enter {username} in either the topic subject or body to post the user's name - This way you can, for instance, have it make a new Topic named:   Welcome 'thier name here' and personalize the message.
Click "Add Topic"

Your new topic will now be in the list
You can "Edit" or "Delete" your Topic(s) there

For random Welcome Topics click "Add Topic" again to create more messages

It will show a generic title that you have it setup to say.


It will show the topic that you have it setup to post.
