There is no way to add more to that area, sorry.
The forums where you see more are the forums on the original server from years ago that are smfforfree (no number in the url) .   There used to be the ability to upload smileys back then.   That ability has been disabled and he has said it will not ever be re-enabled.   In a nutshell all  you can do is replace the existing ones , using the Guide.    There is a code in the Codes Index for using a little dropdown box thing to add more of your own.   You can click on them while in a post box to use them.    I realize its not the same as having them right there in the post area but its all we have at the moment.

Tried about fives times  and it will not work.renamed all the smileys and used the right link to photobucket

I got most my smilies up but theres two of all of them how do i fix it ? and some of them are broken do i need to try to rename them?

If the embarrassed one is one of the ones that has a red x go to Add Smileys.. use the dropdown box.  You may have two listed there.. try each with the dropdown and one should show up then you can save that. Make sure you have it named the same where you are hosting them.   (actually you could "try" putting one by each spelling on PB and it may just work)

Did you read thru the Troubleshooting section in the Guide?    (its okay to ask in this thread btw so I deleted the second post so its not doubled up)

If you did read that ..   what did you put in as the base url ..  if you dont want to post it publicly you can pm it to me.

Put only this in as the base url:
http://s158.photobucket.com/albums/t101/junebugs_06
Then make and name the new smiley set smileys
After you have done that choose "smileys" in the dropdown box in Current Theme.

The forum will look in the base url for the folder named smileys and find them there so long as they are all named correctly and you have chosen them as the Default set.
