Clickable Thumbnail Images -  Directions for Photobucket and Imageshack

Photobucket

a.  Login to your Photobucket account.
b.  Upload your image(s)
c.  Find the image(s) in Photobucket
d.  In the link options under the image(s) put a checkmark in "IMG Thumb"



You will get clickable thumbnail image link that you can use in posts on the forum.

NOTE:  If you do not have link options under your Photobucket images:

Hover your mouse under the image and you will see a "Link Options" link.
Click on that and you will see this:

You can now set your Photobucket acct so that the links for the thumbnail images will be right under each image.

On the screen above put a checkmark for IMG for bulletin boards & forums - checkmark both options
The first one will be for fullsize images
The second will be for clickable thumbnails.

If you want the links to show under your images without having to hover with your mouse click the radio button next to "Show links in my albums"

Make all the choices on the page that you know you may need to use.

Imageshack

a.  Go to:  http://www.imageshack.us/
b.  Click the Browse button
c.  Browse your hard drive and find the image you want to post
d.  Click the "Host it"  Button
e.  After the image is uploaded you will have a page with the links on it to post in threads.
    Choose the one that says:  Thumbnail for forums (1)
f.  Copy the code,  paste it to your post.
    It will put a small thumbnail of the image in your post.  
    When clicked on a new page will open with the larger image.

Click the blue "Link Options" link that is under the pictures on your Photobucket page.  
(If you arent seeing it nor any options under the pics read the Guide again -   it tells you how to do it)
You'll get a box that gives you the ability to choose IMG Thumb as one of the options that will be on that list, as well as under the images.

Of course you can also checkmark the image, then go to the bottom of the page an click Generate Code and get the thumbnail code from there but its sure easier to set the link options so you have that code right in front of your face.
