Hello,

Well I was just browsing here earlier, and thought of Face Book, and how they have a Customizable Status option, unlike forums where the only Status is you're Online / Offline Status, so I then thought of making something similar to that using Custom Profile Fields so I'll be showing you how to make a Status Field using Custom Profile Fields.

First go to Admin CP > Features & Options > Custom Profile Fields > Add a Field.

Now change the settings of the Field to the following:

Name - Status
   
Field Description - What are you doing right now?
   
Show in profile? - No
    
Show in posts? - Yes
    
Parse BBC? - No
   
Text to display before field (BBC is ok if enabled above) - Blank
    
Text to display after field (BBC is ok if enabled above) - Blank
   
Field ID - Don't Change.
    
Add a horizontal rule before field? - No
    
Show field on registration? - No
    
Only allow admins to edit field? - No
    
Only allow admins to view field? - No

Now you're finished with a more 'personal' Status for you're forum, to edit it just go to Profile > Forum Profile.
