[Guide] Chat Box

Guide For The Best Chat box with out Refreshing amillion time's to see if others Typed something new Well first click on this link http://www.xat.com/web_gear/chat.php#top , You should see something saying this "Click a picture below to change the background:" Click ur back round you wont for it and then click Update & Get Code click it, and then scroll down alittle and you should see something that looks like this "Look Bellow"

Click on copy and then go to ur Forums Click Admin>ManageStyles> Then click on Edit Headers/Footers Click on Footers if you wont it on the bottem or headers if you wont that chat box on top and then Copy the code you got and paste it in there and click Save and there! The Perfect Chat Box! Well.. i think it is lol Hope you guys like it..

First thing is you have the jquery in the wrong section.  It goes in your headers, not in your Logo URL.

chat box code can go in either your headers or footers since you are just starting out.

Thought I would see if I could help.
I went to that site.
Im not seeing the code either.
It sorta looks as though the site is not working correctly right now.   ???

Try this, nice clean look, customizable to match your forum.  Premium gives you registration and IP ban.

Ok I have an easier way to do this (sorry if you ssaid this or it has been posted 8)). I'll try to keep this easy. First go to a forum that has a xat chat box that you are not main owner of. Then click the get your own chat box button. Make all your chat box background and stuff then copy the code. Then on your forums go to admin panel. The go to the place where you add catagories like boards and stuff. Name it like Chat Box!, and pick where you want it to go using the little drop down boxes. then for the discreption that chat box code you copied paste it as the discreption and click save. Go back to your forum's home page and theres your chat box!

you dont need to have a chatbox i your header or footer. just make a new catergory called chatbox and make a board called chatbox and put your chatbox code into the descrition. check out my forums chatbox.
