I was surprised but he may want it installed and in place before that day comes.   That day is a long way off anyways..  Its in RC1 now and there will be an RC2 and no telling how long after that.  They are not rushing the Final Release and Im glad to see they are not.

For what you said in the PM, could I jsut show the forum with the blocks on it, withour getting rid of the home page, and then not show just left or just right but tell nthem that they can?

So just the first, and a pic of the forum how you described in the third?

Sure that sounds good.    I think it would be good to show the different ways it can be done.
I have it setup on one of my forums with a column on the left and the forum on the right, no homepage.
I can post that as well -  its not an active forum -  or Ill set up a simple demo with the default theme on it to do that.

Also.. do not divide it and make two guides -- I think that is how I took the pm?    They would have to go to two separate guides that way. I can help you with getting this one all formatted once you have all of the information in it if you like.   No rush.

I took a pic of the hoem page, forum, help page, and staff list.  The latter two to show that it comes up on all pages, unless you have a custom action like the Games Page, where you have to add the action to it.

Okay.. well I setup the demo site (as you know)  You can post that link under yours in the Guide so they have another look.  They can use the shoutbox on it  (hopefully i will not need to disable that)

I'm kind of confused, how do we select which boards are shown on the homepage?

The Board News Block?
When you create the Block you choose which Board you want the news to be displayed from.
Click on it in the list on that page to select it.

I wonder if SMF will take EzBlock submissions.
