I don't know what you mean, but you can find tutorials for GIMP at planetrenders.net You may need some more experience with GIMP to make cool stuff.

potent I would be more then happy to make you bloody -  I mean your sig -  but if I do so it would make that graphic MUCH larger in size,  hence making it very slow to display.   It is already 102kb as it is.  Not a good idea.

Hurrican if you need help optimizing your images give me a holler via pm.   I can get that down to 25kb for you.

What do you mean by optimizing?

I am not totally familiar with Gimp but when saving files for use online you should always optimize them.

Check settings in Gimp

See if you can set it (when saving as a .gif)

Interlaced
Version 89a
256 colors
transparency=none
dithering=0
Use Optimized Octree

png's are much clearer but you will see a huge difference in file size saving them as a .gif file and the quality diff is barely noticible.

For someone at 56k to download a 102kb file it takes 28 seconds
For a 26kb file it take 6.1 seconds

big difference

 the file size is not a problem for me. It can be whatever size.
EDIT: I use .PNG files. I only use .GIF for animations
