Why do you think people hate your pixel city?

Because they didn't comment on it.  Lot's of work must have gone into that, if you built it pixel by pixel.

Please remember it is still summer time. A lot of people are on vacation still or busily working on their own forums.  They are not hanging around at support a lot any more since they have pretty much learned what they need to know.

Good luck with your future graphics work.

I think it's cute, however I have some questions. There is a space between the last building on the right and the one next to it. It should really be fenced off, or maybe used for public parking. In most cities space is a premium. Also, with no fence, drunks and bums may go back there and sleep and defecate and leave empty liquor bottles and even light fires in garbage cans for warmth during the winter. It's also a place where drug dealers and prostitutes could potentially work, and crimes could be committed back there such as rapes and muggings.

Also, the second building from the left has no heat/ac unit on the roof, and no windows. That could make for a very uncomfortable living environment and may be in violation of local fire codes.

The side walk and the street should be closed off at each end with barricades and signage to prevent pedestrians and vehicles from going off the edge. There's a huge liability potential with those unmarked drop offs.

Other than that, I think it's just fine.
