can i use these images on my site?
Well, if your gonna make a sig or something like that then yes, but If you want to use them otherwise then give credit
If I put a banner on my site, how do I put a "Banner" anyhow? Thanks. I'm kinda a n00b at SMF.
Go to the Admin Control Panel (near the top of the page on the bar with home, search, help etc. on it).
In the side bar, go to Current Theme. The first option will be Logo Image URL. Put the URL in there. Go to the bottom and click save.
Just incase you don't know how to get Image URL's Go to
ImageShack.
Browse for the file and click open. Tick remove size/resolution bar from thumbnail and untick resize image? Click host it!
At the bottom of the page, there will be a box which has the words "Direct Link to Image" next to it. Copy the link in the box.
That link is your URL so paste it into the Logo Image URL box in the Admin CP.
