Can someone give me some tips on improving the graphics speed for the games on my computer without having to go buy a new graphics card? Just any tips other than buying a new graphics card. Thanks.

You Could try running your desktop on Minimum graphics settings. E.g, try turning windows afro to windows "Classic" in appearance settings and then try running a game. This wont make a huge difference but it might help.

Depends on the age of your computer and how old the graphics card is.

There is a program I use called Advanced System Care that has a turbo boost feature that will close unnecessary processes. It's made by Iobit, Google it if it sounds like what you are looking for.
