Forum Url: http://druid.smfforfree3.com
Here is a rough draft so to speak but my problem is some of them are gif's that are animated that I'd like to keep animated inside it and some of the graphics inside it I'd like to be transparent as I'd like the entire background to be transparent so it goes with the forum pattern. Also I think I forget to change the words to black entirely. I do not have the capabilities to do such a thing so if somebody could help and convert it for me I'd appreciate it. I'd also like it to not be any bigger than it is too if at all possible.

Here are the jpg's and gif's inside the banner so you have the originals to work with, they have to be resized to fit of course:

~on this one, it has a black background behind the fire, if there is anyway you can get rid of that? Just having the fire that would be great if not that is ok too. Smiley

These are large so I just put the link instead of the entire image loading in here:

Looking at this in preview it looks like the guy that is shaving his face needs to be a bit bigger if possible and the candles on the left too if possible? Use your judgement in that department for the right fit. I'm sure if you are doing this you are artistic so you have an eye for it to make it look "good and even" so to speak lol. This above was just a quick throw together first draft. So it definetly was a fly by the seat of my pants LOL

Also, if you want to email me your sig (and if you want link to your forum) of what you put on your artwork I will add it to my forum, because these are not mine that are in teh banner that I designed we cannot add yours and mine to it but I can give us both credit in my forum for the collage creation of it. Smiley

Thanks.

Ok, thanks Smiley I did not know if they could stay animated or not. I know you can put them in an animated gif but wasn't sure about doing it all at once like that. I appreciate you trying. Thanks again. Smiley

I removed the background.  It's about the best I could do with it:

Gwenlian -   I took a look at all the graphics you want in the banner.   If all of the animations are added to it, it will be 33 frames.   That means 33 copies of the banner in order to get all of the animations to flow in it.  And THAT will be difficult to do as the frame rates are different for each of the animations.    It will also make for a VERY huge file and will slow the loading of your forum down enormously.   I'ld suggest a very simple animation in it.  Maybe just the welcome smiley.    The fire is 33 frames;   the shaving smiley is 23 frames.  I started on it abit for you but I gotta tell ya those animations are gonna be not only a pain but not a wise idea.

Ok...sorry it took so long to get back in. Thank you ALL for your input. I had no idea that is how a gif would work but Sibyl that is absolutely beautiful! I'm gonna go add it now and see how it works.

One of the reasons I had wnated the background transparent though, is so when I changed the stylesheets I did not have to do another banner LOL But you mixed the two colors of the two stylesheets I go back and forth with pretty well. I will take a look and see how it will look.

Edit: Oh it looks just grand!!!!!!!

Sibyl, you can barely see the candles though (or I can anyways), is there anyway you can swap it to the otherside so they stand out more. That is the only thing that I see that I'd change, otherwise it is absolutely beautiful.

Edit: I just tried to move it to the other side and make the candles with a transparent background so they would not have the white background but gotta love powerpoint, it botched it.  tickedoff I put the little welcome guy in there on the bottom too, to see how he'd look, to see if he'd look outta place and it did not look to bad.

So if you can figure out how to make the candles on the pinkish background without there white background (or I am envisioning that they'd look ok anyways LOL uglystupid2 ) and add the little welcome guy, even with him not moving he looks cute. I think I will be happy with it; it sounds good anyways.  crazy2 Roll Eyes Grin

Thanks again. Smiley
