Whell I was going to ask if the problem may havwe been with with the issues with folks boards not loading, or not loading properly but its not. Either way I still cannot get permissions set so that an admin tab with what I want them to be able to take care of shows.
Sent you a pm with some ideas of things to check and no it wouldnt have to do with server issues and has to be something in your settings. Also please let us know
exactly what it is you want that group to be able to do. Be specific please. That would go a long ways in helping to clear this one up for you. There are some things that only those in the Admin account CAN do.
don't worry it wont work you have to put the people that you want to be able to have the admin link like an admin too like you are i tried on mines too but it wont work so if you want more people to use that link you would have to give them the permissions that you have which means you would have to make them admins
Not true. By giving a group certain permissions that require Admin access to use them, they would have the Admin tab on the main tab bar. You do not have to make them an Admin to do this.
For instance Modifying the Membergroups Permissions for a Membergroup and checking any of these would put the Admin tab on the main tab bar for that Membergroup to use:
