Just an added note .. I switched to the default forum style .. and it repairs some of the issues .. seems to be certain style sheets .. codes not working and coming up as red X .. for instance the locked thread and sticky thread symbols still red X and all the coding for threads i.e. fonts and size and so on .. but I can at least access the menu bar to get into Admin panel with default style.

You can make the images for the stylesheet (such as the tabs) appear (and it wont happen again) by modifying the stylesheet.

Any urls in the css that start with http://www.smfboard.com change the "www" in the urls to "images" so they start with http://images.smfboards.com

You can do the same in Admin > Manage Styles > Customize Images.
Your images will come back   (it wont appear that they do on the customize images page but they will)

You can't modify the default.     I just looked and it looks like the style itself is fine.

If you mean there are images that are red x's they arent part of the stylesheet.
You can fix them if you dont wanna wait on SMF (and it'll make this not happen again btw) by doing this:

Go to Admin > Manage Styles > Customize Images
Check the urls for the images there.
Any that start with http://www.smfboard.com change the "www" in the urls to "images" so they start with http://images.smfboards.com

Ok got the first part done in the style sheet done and that fixed half the problem .. thanks so much !

I'm off into the images now .. but it actually hasn't changed anything .. I have for instance ..

http://www.smfboards.com/Themes2/default/images/message_sm.gif

changing it to

http://images.smfboards.com/Themes2/default/images/message_sm.gif

doesn't work Sad

It will not look like it changes it when you are on the Customize Images page but it does.

By george I think we've got it .. thanks so much! I was a bit worried at first after doing a few and not seeing the change right before my eyes. Don't see any red Xs. Was actually quite easy to fix in both places .. just need to be carefull.

Thanks so much for the quick response. Highly appreciated.
