also smf the dates u have on there r no good for us we dont celebrate most of whats on there and our fathers day ect are differnt to americans xx
The database for the holidays for the calendar are not something that SMF set up. They are part of the software. Although I did like the ability to add and remove them too if having that causes problems and makes that database huge I think living without it is a good idea.

My calender has disappeared. Can someone tell me what the problem could be? I tried to add an anniversary last night, it was added, and the calender was fine. But when I got up this morning...No calendar?
It is gone from the main index page...I can still go to the admin section, but there are little in the way of options there.
Thanks in advance.

Ok...The calandar seems to work. I found a way to change it on the tool tabs.
But... the icon on the index page no longer shows. I didn`t change anything so I cant understand why it is no longer there.
Any one here know what I`m getting at...and can tell me how to get my icon back?

I'm not sure what you mean by "icon" ?
Do you mean it is not at the bottom in the info center?
It will only show there if there are dates on your calendar that are in the range you set in settings.
In other words if you set
Max days in advance on board index
to 7 and there is a holiday 9 days from now it wont show up down there for 2 more days. Also doublecheck the dropdown menus right under that option.

Yes, I did mean the icon in the info center. I do believe you have solved my problem...as usual.
Thank you! Easy fix, I have a lot of learning to do.
