Copy & paste of the HTML code of a banner in 'Headers' makes it appear on the homepage.  But how do I put a picture banner (not text) if no code is available?  Supposing, I want to make my own banner on Word and then upload it in my forum.  Will that be possible?  If so, please advise how.

LOL ..

Sorry .. I know I can be quite unclear many a times.

Well, what I mean is, the other day I tried to put the SMF banner and the code for it was given.  I copied and pasted it.  It came fine.  Similarly, I've checked some banner exchange sites.  They've all given their banner codes for copy and paste.  And of course, I don't have any knowledge of HTML codes.  So, if I want to put a banner of my own choice by creating it myself on Word or simply selecting some image from the web, how do I upload that as a banner in my forum?  While editing 'Header' there's no 'attachment' button there.  Or is there some other method of putting a banner on the forum?  Can't figure out ..

Gotcha

www.photobucket.com
Get an account there and upload your picture to photobucket. They'll give you a URL

I would suggest you learn some HTML
www.w3schools.com has a great tutorial. It isn't hard really...
