Advertisements are appearing on my forum offering software that enables people to hack e-mail accounts.  I am surprised that Google ads permit something so unethical and this certainly blows the theory that the major internet companies might care at all about anybody's personal security.

Im afraid we have no control over the content of the ads.   The ads generally go by the content of the forum  (dont jump on that statement please - its just informative)     If there is anything of real concern you can of course do a screenshot for SMF for Free along with links to the site.    Whether he can do anything is another question.

A) I would not go to sites like that, they could contain malicious files that could harm your computer.

B) I would PM SMF with these images, rather than putting them out in public for anyone to see and/or go to.

I have to agree with Alex and removed the links from your post Robgraham.    Have seen those ads around the net quite often actually.    As I said earlier we have no control over the ads shown by Google.   You could always try getting in touch with them about it and file a complaint.

like sibyl said its the content of the forums...and not to knock on google but most compainies are in it for money and i am sure they dont check all the advertisments they recieve...and when i go to admin and it asks for my password i get this "crack admin passwords" link from google...thought that was rather unethical my self...posting a warning on my forum telling viewers and members to watch what ads they click on  Wink
