Well you can stubmit a sitemap to google using the following url
http://yourforumname.smfforfree.com/sitemaps/sitemaps.php

Or a yahoo feed list by doing
http://yourforumnam.smfforfree.com/sitemaps/urllist.php

This lets the search engines find the content on your website. Your forum needs to have open acces to public in order for this to work

Pretty sure that in order to submit a site map I need to get my forum verified. It asks to pick either a meta tag or html file.

I know there are some restrictions to messing with any meta. Can I use the meta tag for the Google verification, or should I pick the html file?

Thanks!

I'm not sure if I'm the only one with a forum that has trouble getting members to post.I happened to find this site and have used it successfully twice. It's free the only catch is you have to exchange posts.I've had two other forum admins come to mine and they started the ball rolling with fresh posts and ideas. If your interested this is the link  http://www.postexchangeclub.com/
