He did it recently in light of the server upgrades. Wink
Luckily, Firefox corrects my horrid spelling for me...or I would have died when that was taken away. <3 Spellcheckers.

Since I am the official grammar nazi at our forum...I was glad to see it return.  However, I think it is doing the same thing it has always done...slowing things down to a snails pace.

It's not the spellchecker, it the forum moving that is being done on Server 4.  It has a huge amount of files and its slowing down some of the other stuff.

hi foxx  *waves*  ltns.   Hon when the forums were moved on server 2 the other nite, during the time when the database updating was going on for the gazillion files and forums that were being moved/database updated,  I noticed the exact same thing on server 1 and did ask SMF About it at that time.    Server 4 has tons of forums on it and it is most probably the same issue today.   Once that is all done this should clear up immediately.    If it does not, then we will of course have him look into it.

Hiya sibyl!   smitten  Indeed LTNS!  I suck...yanno.

I removed our spell checker and things seemed to have sped up a bit (I am impatient, as you may be aware of) but I'll try to re-add it when the Server4 move is complete and see how it works!
