Is there any way to limit the number of comments that can show in that section?
Say maybe 5 or 6.
When a new one is added the first disappears?
That section can get very very long.
Yes, having it at the top is abit handy I suppose.
Im so used to it on the side having used smf forums for years that I get lost when
I go into it here. Only concerned it will confuse my members as I try to keep from
changing things up on them too much.
SMF I'ld agree that should you implement it that the layout could use just a "little"
work. It is abit scrunched at the top... needs a space added under Personal Message Options maybe?
These are just my opinions: Ild put the Modify profile options on the left up there instead of the middle and not
center them. Have them lined up at the left edge, looks more like a listing (bad word but ya know what I mean I think)
Its odd how much easier that can make it to read.

I don't even think my members will use the 'Comments' section very much or at all. However, I love the profile information at the top....so that folks can make changes to their profile, like siggy's, easier.

Need Comments on Profile Page of this forum.
I have made some changes on this forum and wondering what do you think of them.
I move the account and profile links from the side of a profile to the top.
I moved the image/avatar to the leftside
I moved moved the user comments from the bottom to the right hand side.
What do you think? and anything you want to improve on it?
Just wanted to bump this topic. It seems EVERYONE loves the new layout for the profiles.So what do you say SMF For Free? Any chance you can make it possible for our forums? I actually had a member on mine that I left a comment to. That was a month ago or more. He didn't know the comment was there until recently. He said he didn't even see that section of his profile cause it was at the bottom. |

I would also love to see the profiles at the top....no pressure...lol.
I am in the profiles alot giving bucks for tourneys...would be much easier and faster for me as well as the members to update siggy's. Thanks SMF!

Did you ever get the sizes of the profile comments locked? Because I'm still finding that a long message or large image can mess up the entire profile.
Look at my profile, you'll see what I mean.
Oh, my other idea. I just kinda scanned over this topic so I don't know if it's already been suggested but, make the avatar aligned to the top? It's kinda low on my profile right now.
