 Hey, SMF you think you can add some extra boards to the SMF forum? You know for the people on the forum like me, and some other people that like to just have fun on SMF!

Just a suggestion!

I totally object to the idea.
For a two main reasons:

For one, the biggest one, we aren't truly a discussion forum and don't really intend to grow into a  free-for-all community. We are simply community supporting other communities.

Secondly, people beat around the rules and SPAM enough here already. I hardly see any real good topics and good discussions to think "I can handle these guys in other boards". People make wayyy too many posts to simply say their forum URL one more time or to boost their post count.
I see posts that simply say "lol" or " " for no good reason and I believe that they are there to simply boost post counts.

That's just my two cents. Maybe one day when I see people have intelligent discussions and simply being here to help out and talk...not to spam URL's and raise the post count. Quality over quantity.

But...looking around other boards is discouraging.

I agree with both Crasyandconfused and simply sibyl. There's already too much spam and nonsense around the forums. SMFSupport is called SMFSupport for a good reason. The forums were made to help others with their SMF Forums Site. I mean besides you can create your own chit-chat forums and advertise it. (IN THE CORRECT PLACE!) But i'm seeing this situation where you don't need to talk gibberish but here we are in General Forums this is kind of a spam/suggestion topic.People sometimes are mistaken for spamming when really they don't get the entire "Layout" of the forums. They mistake certain spots for their topic. It's really not needed for other places to post when all SMFSupport is just a virtual(changing,transforming rapidly) manual/help guide to make your forums appealing to the human eye.
