Not a good idea for most people. Main issuses if you are running Windows Xp has 10 connection limit.
You would need to setup mysql and php as well and have a decent connection to the internet.

Right well decent connection to the net I have,I dont know what  a 10 connection limit is lol. Im also not so good with mysqp or php lol  Cheesy

Well, simply put with a 10 connection limit you could only have 10 people on your forum at once. I think

Yeah, Windows XP isn't meant for much more than typical computer stuff. Plus if you wanted to host anything on your computer you could never, ever turn it off. It's not really reccomended.

I'd suggest just just buying a hosted server, or sticking with us.
