The title is still at the top of your forum..  (unless of course you have replaced it with a banner that does not have the name of it in it)   You can also change what it says on the Maintenance Mode screen under subject for display and message for display  in Admin > Forum Settings so not sure what you are asking?

No at the top of the website there is a tab, this contains the website title (Not your forum title) when you change to maintenance mode this changes to maintenance mode, I wanted to know if this could be changed back to your forum title.

what tab are you talking about?    (totally lost)
There is not anything you can change about how Maintenance Mode is displayed except the two things I already told you about.. that is it.

Code:
<script type="text/javascript">
document.title = "YOUR CUSTOM TITLE HERE";
</script>
