Questions about paid subscriptions

Hi all,

I'm new to the forums and i have a quick question i'm hoping someone can help with. I was looking through the admin section of the boards and i see there is a section for paid subscriptions.

Can someone explain to me what this is for and how to use it?

I would greatly appreciate any help you may be able to give.  ;D

Mainly for collecting money from your users.
Works best using paypal IPN. You need to signup for a paypal account then enable paypal IPN and set the IPN url.

When a subscription is ordered you have the option of upgrading a user to a certain member group.

Ideas: Collect money from users
Have specail forums only paying members can access.
Use it for ecommerce sales. Sell software and other informaiton.

Tons of ideas on ways to make mony.
