I am quite sure that there is no code for recent gallery uploads.
I'll try to do it, but I am a bit busy now. It can take a while.
Where do you want it to show up? The board index?

If you don't have a whole lot in there, random images works pretty good.  I like seeing a different picture every time I go to a page.

right now there's no images in there,  but once i get members and stuff i want recent uploads just on the homepage and possibly a random image farther down
