Unwanted ad download
« on: September 12, 2011, 06:43:55 pm »
Every time I log in/out of our Group's Forum, change from one topic to another, or
go to Home Page, I get an unwanted advertising download that I have to trash on
finally logging out. Can you please advise how I can prevent this? The file is:
72890.html and I have no idea why I am the only member having this problem.

This is an update.
I have checked the File Info on this download and have found that it has
originated from http://served.antventure.com/creatives/answer.com/travel/72890ad.html, http://ad.yieldmanager.com/iframe3?

On checking via the internet, I see that the companies (!!) are flagged for Malware and seemingly not to be trusted!!

I sincerely hope that SMFforfree will investigate.

bluekights.smfforfree.com

I have discovered that this ad seems only to attack Mac users.
Ad-bloc for Mac seems to have cured the problem.
