Re form maintenance

Find and repair any errors..

When attempting to engage I receive the following

Duplicate entry '4602-7' for key 3
File: C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\SMFForFree\Sources2\RepairBoards.php
Line: 189

Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 1.1.3, while your database is at version 1.1.2. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php.

Some thoughts...?

Don't know why one part of your forum is 1.1.2, and the other is 1.1.3, sorry.

Moved to Bugs, where it hopefully gets more attention.

I though I should mention that the errors, or bug...is expanding...
or is being reported more often...
I hope this does not cause my site to crash... Sad

Have you actually gone and looked to see what "Message #4602" is? The error is in reference to the topic its in. Check the topic settings for that board. If the topic isnt of any importance, or is an old topic, delete it.

Its also referencing topic #1160 when it renders the error on message #4602. Have you merged those at some point?

Do you have a "Member #13" listed on your members list? If so is it an active person? If not delete that person and see if that corrects that issue.

Thats an issue only SMf can fix since he is the only one with access to the data files. If it was an imperative issue he would have already fixed it for you. If the "only" time you are receiving that error is when you run forum maintenance, I wouldnt worry about it. Meaning: if you are having no other issues with your forum, seeing no other errors of any kind when trying to access boards/topics, etc, then its not a fatal issue and I wouldnt worry about it.

As for your forum crashing, not to worry on that either. SMF makes regular backups so unless he is the one that removes your forum, it will always be there for him to restore if it ever goes down.
