Forum Url: http://druid.smfforfree3.com
It eventually let me post it, I just used my back button and hit post again. I had taken it from the test site to the new one prior and was editing it.

I know one thing I have noticed with the druid.smfforfree3.com one is that I am having to "wait" for long periods of times for pages to load to "post" the threads. Whereas I simultaneously have the gwenllian.smfforfree2.com open to transfer the posts from and am having no difficulty in editing and saving them with the same long "wait" time. Is that a difference in the 2 and 3 or possibly because of an error somewhere in mine (the 3 one)?

It probably has to do with the 2 and 3. The 2 and 3 indicate that the forums are on different servers. Each server is actually nearly exactly the same(don't worry...SMF For Free isn't putting you on an inferior server), but each server ends up with different loads on them at different times.

When one server is swamped or running heavy maintenance at times it will be a bit slow.

That does make sense, it seems to have not had any more issues (why I have not PM'ed or added more helps to this thread Smiley ) and even when I added more scripts to my header and footers it did not seem to bog it down much more. Even after weeding them down it has a pretty good load time and the problem seems to have disappeared.

Thanks for explaining though crasy, that helps a lot so if I do have a bit of a slow time unless it has major errors going with it I know not to worry. Smiley
