Check the Codes Index for the Shop Code     Leave any questions about the code in that thread.

what about the living avatars, how do I fix this?

(thanks about the shop, but I thought there was another version where you could actually buy the stuff, not that I had to give it to the people)

SMF for Free will have to take a look at your Living Avatar setup

That is the only shop code we have unless you want to purchase the ecommerce store or classified's system.
(you do that thru Admin/Addons)
Classifieds Addon Information
Ecommerce Store Information

I remember my friend made me a site a while back and added a shop, he made it through SMF too

and it was that you could buy add 100 posts to your post count, and it would do that automatically, you could buy a rock (that did nothing)   you could also buy a random money giver and you could select it so it could give the member a random amount between 7 and 200 and it was like 100 to buy (that is how I got allot of points, I set it to 99999 - 99999)

and you could make all these items and even give them pictures, I don't know where he got it, but it was put on a SMF site

Sounds like he was using a non hosted forum and installed the Shop Mod.   We do not have that installed here  (Smf has said he wont install it)     Only option for you would be the Shop Code I mentioned.   I belive there is a bank code as well.

I think I might have found while I was searching the internet, and it was in a file, I just downloaded it and it is a zip, how do I add it?

The Site says SMFShop_2.3-3.0

You can't.  You can not add Mods to your forum.
SMF adds the Mods to all of the forums that he wants us to have.
That mod has been requested dozens of times;   as I said he won't be adding it.

He stated he will not install it as it uses too many resources.
There are a lot of threads about this in the Suggestion Board  Wink

Your friend added it because it was a non hosted forum.   He would have had the ability to add Mods.
You do not have that ability with a hosted forum.  It is a huge security risk as well as other reasons and is not something most all free forum hosting service allow.    The service itself installs the Mods.  I cannot even imagine all the issues that would arise from allowing hosted forums to install Mods on their forums.   Not a good thing.

Sorry but that is how it works.  It is also mentioned in the General FAQ here.

That would be your choice.   Keep in mind that if you do so you will have to fix every single thing that goes wrong, should it.   You will have no help to do so.   And,  that will end the convo on that one as we do not help with that nor lead you in that direction.    Yer on your own with that one  Wink

So.. lets leave this topic as to its original intention :   to get help with your living avatars problem.
SMF will have to look into that, as I said.
